Discover The Lodge at Stepping Stones Farm—

A hand-built Log Cabin where rustic charm and modern comfort unite. With a captivating cathedral ceiling, wrought iron chandeliers, and a floor-to-ceiling fieldstone fireplace, this space invites gatherings around the warmth of the fire.

The Lodge boasts 10 bedrooms, each uniquely named to pay homage to the picturesque towns in the Monadnock Region of New Hampshire. It accommodates up to 22 guests sharing beds or 16 guests preferring separate accommodations. The fully equipped kitchen, spacious main room, and bar setup make it perfect for culinary adventures.

Indoor entertainment includes a TV Room and Game Room with board games, puzzles, and game tables. Outdoors, enjoy lawn games, dining under twinkling lights, and evenings by the Fire Circle under the stars. Explore the farm, meet the horses, and gather farm-fresh eggs.

While The Lodge doesn't have air conditioning, fans ensure comfort, and excellent WiFi keeps you connected. Impeccably clean and sanitized, it's a welcoming retreat year-round.

“The Untamed Palate” with Shaylan Owen.

Chef Shaylan grew up in rural Indiana in a family of talented home cooks. He found his way to a career in food and wine along a path that led through photography, graphic design, marketing, and event planning. In 2018, Shaylan embarked on the nextstep of his culinary journey at Secchia Institute for Culinary Education in Grand Rapids, Mich. After graduating, he moved east and opened The Untamed Palate, a personal chef service focusing on private, retreat and corporate food and wine experiences. He serves Boston, the South Shore area, and the Lakes Region of New Hampshire.

His love of food is only rivaled by his love of wine. In Dec. 2022, Shaylan passed the WSET 3 advanced certification in wine from Commonwealth Wine School in Cambridge, Mass. with Distinction.
Regarding his culinary philosophy, Shaylan says, "Sharing my enthusiasm for food and wine is why I get out of bed every morning.
